I am a great lover of cheese, but have never really taken a liking to blue cheese. It's too strong a flavour for my liking. However this past week I have used it twice in dishes I've cooked for dinner & have really liked the flavour. I think it is because I'm not just eating it on it's own & the other ingredients tone down the strong flavour. So from now on I think I'll be using more blue cheese in my cooking.
excellent... we'll have to give you a sampling of NZ's finest when you're over here... and you can learn to appreciate good stinky cheese by itself :)
