While I was pregnant my hair grew much thinker & longer, but this past week it has begun to fall out by the handful. It is now almost back to the state it was before pregnancy. This is most disappointing, but something I did expect might happen.
It has taken this long? Mine starts the shed at 3 months and continues till 6 months. Unlike you, I have so so so so so much hair that I just LOVE the great hair shed. Love it. Now I'm in the crappy growing back stage and its just as thick and wild as ever. Humf.
I never really experienced the whole extra/thicker hair thing with any of my pregnancies, so never experienced the malt. I guess it's time for you to get a new hairstyle/haircut.
